Pixel 3 is an incredibly good point and shoot camera as it is.

Below, you will find the pictures taken from the following phones using the same Google Camera app: Now that Lens Blur has been rolled into Portrait Mode (which I love), 3D depthmaps aren't being embedded into images anymore, and the camera simply saves the blurred and the original. Lens Blur blurs the background to simulate the shallow depth-of-field of a DSLR. There is an unusually large selection of panorama options and Googles 360 degree Photo Sphere mode. I’m not going to answer this question, use your eyes, develop your own opinion. The Google Pixel camera comes with many of the features we have previously seen on the companys Nexus devices. I've had a lot of software bugs with it and pretty flaky reception despite living in a major city, but the cameras and features made up.

This begs a question: “what’s more important: the hardware or the image processing?” Pixel camera showcase (Pixel, Pixel 2 and Pixel 3) I've been a longtime Android user going back to the OG Moto Droid, and have owned every Nexus and Pixel device since the Galaxy Nexus. The camera’s sensor may not look spectacular on paper, but thanks great pixel processing behind the Google Camera app, every pixel looks amazing. You can do this at Settings > Apps & notifications > See all apps > Photos > Storage > Clear cache. I have to say, that the pictures are impressive. Googles just unveiled its Pixel 2 and 2 XL smartphones, and, as expected, they appear to feature the best smartphone cameras yet. In fact, if you look at Figure 2-12, the zoomed-in detail of the caf counter design was a 7x digital zoom on a Google Pixel 4a. Is Pixel 3 camera really as good as they say? Two more people in my office got so impressed (Samsung owners), that they ordered their Pixels the same day (they were due for a contract upgrade).
